Lake Havasu State Park, AZ

We were pretty excited as we pulled into the town of Lake Havasu. It’s got that beachside funky feel I adore. How did we not know about this place? It’s a Boater’s Paradise!

This is spot #24

We stayed at the Lake Havasu State Park Campground. This was an awesome campground, super clean, nice facilities, 2 boat launches and just steps from the Lake. The best thing was the price, $35.00 a night. I just didn’t understand why all the sites didn’t have covered canopy’s over the picnic tables. Word to the wise, look for the sites that have the canopy’s, or bring your own. We stayed in spots #24 and #35 (this one was awesome). There is plenty of free parking at the campground to unhook your boat/trailer if you want to. We loved this place so much that our original 3 day trip was extended to 8 days.

Amazing Sunsets…

Don’t even get me started on the Sunsets, absolutely incredible! If you want to see a few more photos and a video of spot #35 hit up my instagram account https://www.instagram.com/rvtrekkin/
